Dear Students and Learners,

A new semester has just started, we would like to remind users that, the School has joint the "Google for Education" and "Microsoft Office in Education" programs, and subscribed their cloud services Google Apps and Office 365 respectively. They both are useful tools in supporting your teaching and learning activities.

In addition to the Google Apps that you have been using, all active users can now use the Office 365 cloud service and get the online versions of Microsoft Office software plus 1 TB online storage for free. You can also freely use their online apps such as OneNote, OneDrive, Sway, SharePoint, Skype etc. for educational purposes.

To access the Office 365 cloud service, please visit https://o365-learner.hkuspace.hku.hk and use your Learner Portal account and password to log onto the system, then you can use or download all the apps available there. When using both the Google Apps and Office 365 cloud services, you should follow the HKU Guidelines for Using External Web 2.0 Services for University Purposes, and visit Learner Portal -> Links and Resources -> Google Apps and Office 365 for further user information.
